THE NEED FOR LAW AND ORDER Who ever dreamed that this summer we would see thousands of radicals loot and set fires and taunt horrific threats to some as they beat up others night after night. Police injured, billions in property damage, people killed, and some elected officials coming to the defense of criminal actions. At first we saw protests about police reform. Then protests became violent and seemed to turn to an anti-Trump tactic. But what is it now? An effort to rip apart our fundamental icons and beliefs in this country? Ridicule of our Constitution that gives these destroyers due process? Victor David Hanson said “The point of the mob is to wipe out what it cannot create. It topples what it can neither match nor even comprehend.” At the beginning of the summer I made several “Just A Minute” videos on protestors vs. criminals and funding the sheriff. It has gone so far beyond those topics now, to the need for real law and order, and the need for politicians who support bringing punishment to those who are arrested. I will vote to fund our law enforcement, and they can and will do their job.
THIS ELECTION IS CRITICAL Some people have begun discussing that who is elected to County Council matters, and the direction Clark County would change in just a few years if Jesse James were elected. With a majority of 3, James’ Democratic Socialist programs would give the push for more government control and more regulation and higher taxes. But if the balance is tipped Karen Bowerman’s way, we will have a push for less government control and less regulation, without increasing taxes.
ASK ME ANY QUESTION ABOUT COUNTY ISSUES Residents can ask questions about my positions or about county government from my website. For example, today I was asked “who can I call about my property assessment?” (It’s the County Assessor’s Office at 564-397-2391.) If the question has general appeal, I’ll respond in a “Just A Minute” video!

NEW NEWS ABOUT OLD NEWS, BUT I CAN’T RESIST When final reports were in for the 2020 Primary Election, it was reported that over $100,000 of PAC funds were made for incumbent John Blom in addition to his own expenditures from regular donations. What a mountain!
